Founded in 1987, Conservation International (CI) is an international environmental non-profit organization that works to spotlight and secure the critical benefits that nature provides to humanity. Since our inception, we’ve helped to protect more than 6 million square kilometres of land and sea across more than 70 countries. CI is a US registered charity and currently has offices in 29 countries and 2,000 partners worldwide.
In Singapore, we aim to support the island nation in becoming a world leader in sustainable living by creating national momentum for change, built upon value, care and action for our shared environment. Building awareness among the local community on sustainability and biodiversity based on a strong foundation in science, education and partnership, we empower people to recognize both their individual impact and Singapore’s collective environmental footprint, enabling the protection of natural capital on which both current and future generations depend.
CI Singapore, registered as Conservation International Singapore Conservation Trust (CSCT), is an Institute of Public Character, first recognized as such in 2017.
